O 8º Video Game Awards, maior premiação de games do mundo, será exibido no Brasil pelo canal ANIMAX (da TV por assinatura), no dia 22 de dezembro, quarta-feira, a partir das 19h.
A premiação, que acontece em Los Angele (EUA), busca exaltar as melhores realizações da indústria de videogames. Exibido em mais de 180 países, o VGA reúne os maiores nomes dos videogames, de Hollywood, da música, inclusive dos esportes, para homenagear os melhores feitos na indústria durante o ano.
Confira abaixo a lista completa dos mais de 100 indicados nas 26 categorias. Este ano, a premiação promete mostrar em primeira mão alguns dos lançamentos que devem agitar o mundo dos games em 2011.
A aventura "Mass Effect 2" lidera a premiação com seis indicações, incluindo Game do Ano, Melhor Game para PC e Melhor Game de Xbox 360. Em seguida, com cinco indicações, estão: "God of War III", "Red Dead Redemption" e "Halo: Reach".
As reprises desta 8ª edição da premiação passarão nos seguintes horários: Dia 26, às 14h e às 20h; dia 29, às 15h; dia 02/01, às 14h e às 20h.
